Description
Gearbox to suit Valiant/FM shootbolt window locking system, designed to work with Valiant face mounted locking bars. The unique combination of a robust central deadlock, bi-directional rods and roller cams offers an effective solution for window security, combining strength and durability for an easy-to-fit solution. The lock features a 11.5mm central deadbolt throw and 22mm backset gearbox. Designed to operate using a standard espagnolette casement window handle, the lock is suitable for PVCu, timber and aluminium applications.
The gearbox is manufactured from high strength zinc alloy and finished in zinc and yellow passivated. The system has been performance tested to 30,000 cycles and meets the requirements of BS EN 1670 Grade 4 Corrosion Resistance (240 hours).
